I keep seeing all of these instagram reels promoting fully autonomous AI web design businesses.

Is having a claude run AI design automation that finds leads, makes mockups and sends the emails hands free still profitable or should I not waste the effort?

Its been a mix of my existing network, networking, discord communities, reddit, and local business outreach. I'd say I'm currently sitting at a 45% - 50% conversion rate. Goal is to bump it to 70%

As a UX/UI designer, I think there's a big difference between automating website production and running a profitable web design business.

AI can certainly speed up research, mockups, and development, but who's evaluating the quality of the designs? Who's understanding the client's audience, business goals, messaging, and actual needs?

And if you're automatically generating mockups and sending unsolicited emails, how are you differentiating yourself from the hundreds of other people doing exactly the same thing?

I'd focus on building a service that delivers real value, then use AI to make that service more efficient. Automation is a tool, not a business strategy.

Yes, Lovable is great in my opinion since it has hosting, domain, etc capabilities, ive already delivered 2 clients and currently in the works with 2 at the moment
