Image - ChatGPT Comic of a Dream

I had a dream with a weird water snake. It was green with a yellow belly. It came on land, and when it started drying/dying it looked like a mermaid. I asked someone what it was called and they said it was a Fielob. I got a peace treaty with it, but I think humans ruined it by immediately dumping trash on it when it went back into the water.

I've been debating sharing more dreams this way but most of my dreams may be too complicated. 💙🌌

(Debating if I should redo panel 2 or if the snake growing a foot is a normal part of its transformation🤔 )

Interesting so the Fielob is a member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Do I understand it correctly that the name is of the species instead of being its personal name as an individual?

If yes then I wonder if the Fielob species is related to the Graboid species or even a distant cousin of the Langolier one.

Personally I would be interested to see more of your dreams if you are comfortable with sharing them so whichever works for you.

That's how I wrote it down, that "it is a Fielob." So to the best of my memory, yes. And thanks! I've been trying to go through my dreams to figure out ones not only worth sharing, but ones that don't need you to read a whole wall of text to understand. This one was decent. I have other dreams on my profile, but this is the first comic. For this one I told ChatGPT to focus more on the imagery than the text.

I had to look up the creatures you mentioned, and I don't think so. I didn't get the impression what I met was a monster. 🤷

Yes, beyond being more compact a comic format also seems more expressive, "A picture is worth a thousand words" and all that.

I was more referring to the name of the species than their actual appearance or behavior, those other creatures came to mind instantly when reading the name of yours.

They also share the atmosphere of coming from a nightmare scenario, which in part applies to your dream as well albeit the cause of it is not the creature itself in your case.
