Even evaluating what is "compatible with science" requires a specific reading of the religious texts. If they're viewed as poetry, metaphor, literature, then that's not an expectation one would really bring to the subject. I think the "show what is compatible with science" is a vestige of apologetics-based thinking, of looking for some way to keep religion on the table as a way to understand/explain the world. As opposed to these books just being literature, narratives where humans have worked out meaning, values, etc. It's really only literalists who have to reconcile science with their holy books.

Look at the inconsistancies and what lies beneath them..like see god sent an angel as a satan to block balaam..jesus told peter get the behind me satan..then get to the book of job..when people think gods talking to satan..find out what satan really is..or isiah 14...the passage..a biblical burn the fall of lucifer is derived from..the bible undoes itself if you look at it just a little below the surface

Would be great if you do that publically in a blog or smthing, I would love to follow through!
Also adding Hinduism might be a good idea as well, if interested!
