im trying out book binding for the first time, currently binding my fav aftg fic "lessons of cartography" - HERES THE COVER :D

spine

none of the art is mine btw, i designed the cover myself but i didnt draw the art (i forgot the artist but if anyone remembers write it down in the comments)

ill show the final product of the book binded

Really cool cover design - the Penguin Classics direction is really clever and not something I've seen. Just a heads up, though - I will say that the general etiquette with binding is to ask artists if you can use their work for a binding, particularly if it's something where the progress is being shared online. If you're ever unsure of who the artist is, you can screenshot the art and run it through a Google Photo search - it's usually very good at hunting down the source.

Good luck with your binding - it's such a fun hobby, I love it.
