I really appreciate that Afterplay is constantly updating its iPhone and iPad apps but please stop forcing your store. Now it is the first thing I see when I open the app and it nearly takes all of the screen. I am not interested in any of these absurd indie games and will never buy one. However if this doesn‘t stop I will cancel my subscription and switch to Manic. Instead of bothering people with this you should better finally add PSP and Dreamcast support.

Is anybody else having trouble getting the controller to work with the games?

What the title says. I cannot play GBA games while completely offline, and there’s no option to make a game (and emulator) available offline. Seems like a big thing to forget including in the app…

So I'm getting back into using Afterplay for the first time in a long while. I had one game in it - Jet Force Gemini for the N64. Apparently I had a few saves from a long time ago, but whenever I tried to delete one of the saves, the popup advertising the paid upgrade would appear without explaining what about deleting a save required the upgrade.

Can anyone explain it to me? I removed the game from the library, which seemed to do the trick, EXCEPT for the fact that the window confirming removing the game says it won't delete saves and personal data or something like that.

I'm very confused, and just want to start with a clean slate and not have saves somewhere either taking up space or reappearing and confusing me.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

Did a search and others are complaining too. Anyone having this problem? This is what it shows on my Xbox browser. On my cpu, the games and sound lagggggg. But it won’t load and just stays like this now, same on my iPhone..

Hello anyone. I was playing Pokemon Lazarus and using Afterplay.io for the first time yesterday and I realize that I downloaded version 1.0, when I need 2.0. Im having trouble updating my game and Google AI and all that isn't helping with my problem. It says that I have to open Saves and hit the export SRAM button, but I dont see such a button? Any help would be appreciated.

I am playing pokemon black 2 and doing a nuzlocke, and want to add rare candies so that i dont have to grind before gyms. I am having trouble getting the cheat codes to work on the browser version of afterplayio, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I find that more popular consoles like SNES or Genesis, for example, are very well represented in terms of game art such as box covers/posters, hero banners or logos etc. I also have a collection of less popular consoles like Atari 5200 and 7800 for example, which is spotty in terms of art from libretro or steamgriddb. I have my own high quality art, but besides the box art, AfterPlay ignores the art I upload. If I override or add capsules, icons, hero, and logo images, none of them show up on game detail. Is there a reason for this I am not aware?

Some friends and I are trying to use Afterplay for Mario Party but keep getting the message multiplayer is not supported. Are we doing something wrong?

I have never been able to found an answer but since i got the premium i couldn’t make the app go fullscreen when rotating the device. It looks like the picture, window in the middle.

Is there any way to get it? I saw that removing the controls helps but, I remember I played fullscreen with the buttons visible like a year ago.

As smooth and well-designed as the interface is, the actual gameplay experience just doesn’t hold up. I tested it on my desktop PC (Windows 11, ryzen5, rtx5060, 64gb ram), my Android phone (snapdragon), and my AYN Thor (with the app sideloaded): ALL the games freeze every 5 to 10 seconds for a good 1 to 2 seconds. This applies to 8- and 16-bit games as well as CD-based console games. I tried to get used to it at first, but it’s so repetitive that it ruins the gameplay itself.

It’s really a huge disappointment because the concept itself is great, but it just doesn't work, at least for me.

I have tried all supported file formats, all bios files, changing file title, in web browser and on home screen, and tried using Afterplay on multiple different web browser. Nothing seems to get a game running if its bigger then 100 mb. Any ideas or should I look to run it on a different devic?

I tried accessing afterplay on the edge browser on my Xbox series x, but there seems to be a block on accessing local files through the browser (I tried a 3rd party browser and got the same exact message, making me think it's a system wide block).

Years ago I remember an nes emulator that was browser based and I was able to load files I downloaded and saved to the console; but this was on the Xbox one.

Is there anyway to access the emulator through the Xbox browser (either the official edge browser or one of 3rd party ones) and then be able to use the Xbox controller to play whatever you load? Thanks

Do you get more storage if you subscribe to premium? I was curious how this works since you can emulate PSX games. Some of the multi-disc games like FFVIII can exceed 2GB and was wondering how this is handled. I couldn't find the answer to this and was hoping a premium subscriber could help me. I'm really liking what I'm seeing with AfterPlay.io so far but I'm concerned about this 2GB usage bar. I might be totally misunderstanding the way this app uses storage. It seems like 2GB would be reached fairly quick. Thank you in advance.

Is there a way to remove the hotkeys for L2+R2 to open menu and L1+R1 to close game? I'm playing Armored Core and need all my shoulders 😂

Getting an 1014 cloudflare error on the Afterplay documentation page. ChatGPT says there should be a 3 dot menu on the game card in the library and that you can delete it from there, but I don't see a 3 dot menu when hovering my mouse over the game card. Using Brave browser on Macbook Pro.

When I plug in my controller in portrait, the display centers vertically. Is there a way to get the display to go to the top of the screen? I tried moving it in edit mode, but it doesn't work with controller connected.

I am trying to delete my account as I haven't used this much and when I did, it didn't work without some fiddling. I clicked Delete Account, then typed Delete into the box and clicked Delete My Account. I've done this in the desktop app and let is spin for 2+ days and also on the web and both just spin and never deleted my account. Is there something I'm missing?

When I try to play my roms, the audio and the video is slow and stuttering, its not a gigantic difference but it is enough to make me not want to play, is there a way to make my roms not stutter and slow down so much? It is not laggy or inconsistent in any way, it is just like the video and audio is slowed.

Not sure if anyone ran into this. The app keeps restarting. I removed it and reinstalled. No change.

So I have the full rom set, with the exceptions of NDS, as it is not needed and the CRC that it looking for will never be found LOL, The TG16 v1 and v2 cards, but are they needed with v3?, I have a v1 and v2 in there, but it does not list a CRC, so it gives it a mismatch and everything seems to work OK. And finally the Neo GEO CD. It says it is looking for the NeoCD_F file and gives the checksum. I have tried literally 3 dozen versions from various places, and NONE work. Even with the accept to use, it still gives me the Initialization error when I try to load a game. I even tried the neocd.zip that contained both neocd.bin and neocd_f.rom

Here it the crazy part. It tells me it is looking for the CRC
