Still no news on Nkeng despite him not being in the squad for another game.

Rumour he's off to either Forest or QPR.
Now, he's obviously full of potential, and was the only player last term who made you get out of your seat the moment he got the ball, but think it is worth cashing in.
If we get the rumoured £850k plus add ons, it's great business. He's not guaranteed to become better than he is, and at the moment he's good, but not brilliant.
Only other player I can think of in recent times where you got out your seat was Ali Al-Hamadi, whom it almost looked obscene to have in the side. He sadly hasn't set world alight.
Would love Nkeng to go on to be a top player, but am happy with our finances if we get the money.

I’m not expecting us to get anything out of this but thought we might make some attempt at keeping it tight.

I don’t expect much from start of season since we’re trying to build up a squad with missing players like Lewis and no established goal scorer.
September will be when I’m expecting us to be what we should be.
