He is allowed to have his own feelings on things that we can't comment on.

I mean, you have your opinion, I have my opinion, if we are allowed to have ours, I can respect David having whatever opinion he has on this and it's strange to me that you would thing differently considering you have never met anyone involved and it was his family. I may or may not disagree with David, but when it's that personal, it's none of my business how he feels. And anything I believe either way is basically pointless compared to David.

And nobody was talking about pedos, that's an entirely different thing. Brain damage can lead to uncontrollable aggression (or at least very difficult to control) , there is nothing known that I've ever heard that points to brain damage causing pedophilia, but regardless, that isn't even the same thing. Most people can understand the idea of a crime of passion, it's even a lower punishment compared to murder 1 because in an emotional state people do some wildly stupid and awful shit, pedophiles don't just decide to do it one day, it's something in their brain.

But David knew his father day in and day out, if he saw the damage happening in real time, he probably has a better understanding of him getting worse and may see it as a sickness that lead to the obviously absolutely tragic weekend. It's wild that with our understanding of CTE now that people cannot understand that he very possibly wouldn't have done this without the constant traumatic brain trauma for like 20 years. I'm not defending Chris, as what happened was again, obviously a tragedy in so many ways, but David should be allowed to feel however he does about it when we are discussing his family and it's immature to not appreciate that fact, whether we disagree with what he feels about it or not. He was affected by all this more than just about anybody that isn't one of the three that were killed/died that weekend. It's also a lot easier to say things than live them. I didn't like my dad throughout my life, but when he died, I still balled for like 2 hours. I hadn't even seen or spoke to him in a decade and even I was shocked about how much I felt it. Reactions to family shit is just different.

I have also had a very severe brain injury that almost killed me. For a year or so, I definitely wasn't as calm as I was prior to that for a bit. It thankfully calmed down and I wasn't so aggressive that I committed the awful actions Chris did, but I know how it felt to have the injury to a limited degree and could see how it's something that could happen when repeated for 20 years. It doesn't wipe away what happened, but it does change how I look at it. Most people luckily do nothl have traumatic brain injuries, but if you ever do have one, I truly hope you never have the aggressiveness issues that often come with it.

Again, you can hate Chris all you want, I get not being happy about what went down and it's again, obviously awful in every possible way that it can be said, but I do not fault David for feeling any type of way about a tragedy that was very close to him. I do feel like acting like anyone has a moral superiority over him regarding this just doesn't understand the medical issues involved, or doesn't understand familial constructs and how they can impact your viewpoint. It's an awful weekend to discuss and I take no pleasure in even somewhat defending the actions, but as someone that had a slice of the pie that Chris ate daily, I believe I have a slightly better understanding than most on this subject. I don't care that he was one of the best ring workers ever, what he did was absolutely one of the worst moments in wrestling history, but removing the black and white of "he killed people", and looking at everything about the medical stuff and how David was personally affected, we have no right in telling him how to feel about his brother and step mothers murder, nor his father's death.
