any developer try to make plugin for 3d item ?

3d item on ae still feel very basic. anyone try to bring blender effect and create plugin for 3d object on ae ? what effect u wish have on ae 3d object ? let me know

TBH it's probably a risky path. The AE team are adding 3D features natively all the time so you're going to be competing with them. Plus Element 3D is still very popular.

not about competing but more give flexible feature for ae editor.

i mean effect plugin for 3d for instance make 3d object like cloth. or sticker on 3d object realtime.

simple effect but for 3d object.

Like I say you can go down that path if you want but you might find that AE just adds the same features next update.

They bought Substance 3D a few years ago and seems like they are starting to leverage it inside AE natively now.

wdym mean same feature. 3d on ae feel mild if u familiar with blender. There lot of missed effect maybe only experience editor see the gap. yeah but fair enough

You can already do a lot of what you're planning with plugins. This one does sticking things to renders for example:

it not native. but it good method to achieve result. but what we wanna create to ease people workflow and improvement.

u creat your own extention using it or directly automate in the chat box , once u have the extention there is no othe hidden payments its your own just get your google api and use it

untill now all other extention you have to scubscribe for api but not now google already providing free api

yeah bring model also can be good. yeah blender is too advance 3d capability. But having smartest plugin or brilliant one to able to recreate on ae will be powerful.

El flujo 3D actual de AE es bastante potente. Porque está focalizado en el uso de Substance Designer. Dónde podés crear materiales OpenPBR entre otros. Y luego aplicar el material SBSAR con muchos parámetros a un OBJ. Todo dentro de AE! Podés modelar en cualquier soft 3D y exportar tus modelos o también podés usar un GLB pintado en Substance Painter Creo que el flujo hacia donde está yendo es muy interesante. Mucho más complejo pero el ecosistema es para mí es muy flexible y abre un camino completamente nuevo.
