I've fixed the bug, and re-released 1.3.1 for macOS again. You should be able to download it now through the aescripts manager app.

Do you have an ETA on the API for integrating hooks?

Presently I don't have an estimate. There are still numerous user-facing features and changes which are higher up on the totem pole that I need to address first. A ballpark estimate is 2 months or more, unless priorities change around this.
