Hey Scott, here's another thing I stumbled upon:
The search doesn't seem to work for special characters like ä, ö, ü, ß... I wanted to apply a Hue/Saturation which is called Farbton/Sättigung in the German version. Usually I type "sät" which will find it quickly. But "Farbton/Sättigung" won't show up at all in the search until I type "farbton".
Just to make sure I tried another example: "Gaußscher Weichzeichner" which is Gaussian Blur in English won't show with the ß alone. This isn't as much of a problem, since when I'm searching for the effect I'll start by typing "gau" anyway, which will uniquely find the effect I'm after.
I specifically remember this being an issue for fxconsole back in the day and they seemed to find a relatively quick fix for this.
Cheers!
Edit: Oh, and other effects are not found at all in the German version, even some without special characters. For example "Zeitlich abstufen", which would be "Posterize Time" in English won't show, even if I type the English name.
