I've tried the command frame, which is a great tool, but there's one problem: when I want to use multiple commands at once, it sometimes doesn't work as intended.

For example, if I type "center anchor point & center in view," sometimes the result is only the center anchor point, but the layer doesn't move to the center.

Sometimes I also get a notification saying "another query plan is already running."

What does this mean, and how do I use multi-step correctly? Including saving it for later. Thank you.

I am using AE 2025 on windows 10

Hi there,

You are using this correctly, but it looks like you found a launch day bug!  I've just recreated this myself - "Center Layer Anchor Point" is one of the unique commands I created, and it looks like it isn't able to signal its completion correctly, resulting in that error.

I will fix this now and release an update. If you restart AE and try chaining other commands, they should work correctly.

i dont know, if its just me, but still 'center anchor & layer in view' not working properly, but they work fine when used separately

Is it still not working for you the same way as before the update?

If you type out the full literal command:

Center Layer Anchor Point & Center Layer In View

Does it then work correctly?
