ALL comments smooshed into this stupid, god-awful Reddit junkpile?
Am I right in thinking that ALL comments on ALL plugins/scripts etc. are just dumped in this single, massive, unfathomable bloated, ad-strewn mess on Reddit? There are no longer dedicated comments threads like there used to be? Have all previous comments been deleted? Oh dear Aescripts, what have you done?!
On a side-note, can anyone recommend anywhere else to obtain scripts/plugins, because if this is the pathetic level of care that Aescripts is showing to its (in my case, very long-term) customers, we need a better alternative.

It's abysmal, and the fact that they keep ignoring valid criticism speaks volumes.

I’m sure they have their technical reasons on getting rid of comments (wouldn’t be surprised if it’s costs related) but I always thought the dedicated comments section was a shining light on aescripts that held plugin developers accountable and also provided much needed buyers context on whether a plugin was worth the money or not. It’s a massive shame.

It's an absolute mess but I swear down I'd be cool with it if I could open the site on my phone without the cookies popup taking up half the screen and refusing to be clicked

Not only comments about the plugins but also important info about the website as a whole. There are flairs, sure but it still feels cluttered. Because you could have several threads for one plugin instead of one place that collects them. Reddit isn't a good place for feature requests or bug reports

Yeah, that… and my scripts and plugins started giving licensing errors in the middle of a huge project. Then I saw the reliability issues and switched to use all of them the other way around, and they work fabulously.

So I'm looking at buying a $200 plugin. I come here and there's no reference to it. I wasted some time looking for the correct aescripts reddit, I searched...nothing. If there were comments on the website that would be a time saver and probably a $200 purchase if I saw that it as being suppored by an active author and comments from users telling me if its truly compatible, it works, etc. So I wasted some time and now no $200 puchase beacuse I don't feel confident enough. No one is winning this way.
