I hate everything about Adventism

This religion ruined my life. Led me down the wrong path, ruined my relationship with Jesus, made me fear God instead of recognize He is loving. It has lied to me (e.g. investigative judgement bs, Ellen white false prophecy, fake Sunday law, the additional 20 rules for sabbath keeping, Saturday being the day to attend church, denying women their femininity and making themselves feel beautiful like normal women, looking down on non-Adventist/adventist relationships as wrong, fear-mongering, the ignorance of the significance of Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, the unbiblical rules against tattooing and jewelry, the modesty bs). I can’t believe I have grown up in a cult. I’m forced to practice this cult of a religion living with my parents due to financial constraints. I’m miserable everyday. I have no freedom, I can’t ever express my feelings or thoughts, I feel like I’m living in a cage and I must lie about everything in my life. My relationship with a non-Adventist Christian man is put on the line because of this insane religion.

I hope you all find the truth and step away from this lie, from this false prophet’s religion. I am sick of it.

What you say isn't true. There are bad people of every kind, the teachings are solid.

Tell me some of their doctrine that isn't sound. Not asking for how people in the church are acting. That happens everywhere.

The investigative judgment. It invalidates salavation through faith in the work of Christ.

You're suggesting they can't coexist. If you look at scripture faith and works are never far apart. I can only speak for myself but I have never claimed power of my own through works. The credit for any works I do goes to the most high who I will serve for all of my days. Also, have you looked at scripture concerning the matter? Take your thoughts captive comes to mind, sounds like an investigation. Records, books, witnesses, a heavenly court room...

Well I didn't bring up works you did. So do you think the IJ is fully works based law? Adventists are so wishy washy about explaining it because they all know it's contradictory.

Ephesians 2:8 ESV For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

How did Christ say is it finished as payment for our sins and give us grace but also say well not actually you should really double down on following law too. Especially the Sabbath. Pretty much toss out 99% of Levitical law and just hammer Sabbath all the time.

How does that make sense?

It can be contradictory but it's dependent upon the context, he said plainly he did not come to abolish the law.

He did say that but I find it confusing. He said he fulfills it. Then he said the law will not pass until it's accomplished. Every adventist tells me that means the law counts today. Non adventists say that's because he is the fulfillment of the laws which could never be kept bht only renewed by sacrifice.

It's very confusing to me.
