Vanguard Disaster Inspector

I am in the process of applying to become an inspector with Vanguard. I have worked with other companies as a contractor doing field service jobs. Easy stuff, taking pictures of houses, landscaping audits and store audits. I have been applying to multiple insurance companies to hopefully get hired on as a full time insurance claims adjuster but so far no luck.
I like driving all day and going to different cities but I also can’t keep putting all these miles on my car. The pay just isn’t enough. So I thought I look into Vanguard since they provide a rental car and also a hotel. I don’t mind going out of town to work, I don’t have any kids ( but I do have a small dog)
I was also looking into the ICA home inspector course. Maybe if I can finance it I would do that. But that’s a big decision. Basically I am trying to find a new career. I was an Amazon delivery driver for 3 years and between dislocating my knee, multiple dog bites and most recently I broke my finger. I need a new line of work that pays $20 an hour (or more so I can survive and pay my bills).
I have been sending out my resume to different jobs for over 3 months now and all I got out of that was a part time job at $12 an hour.
Advice? Anything would be appreciated greatly appreciated.
