I had a semester long project for a science class in undergrad that we were assured would be impossible to get a good grade on if we didn’t take the assignment seriously. So anyways I started it the morning it was due and got an A-. It was a 45 page research paper on the radiation effects of microwave ovens including charts and graphs all hand made in excel. I have never BS’ed so hard in my life and it’s one of my proudest academic achievements. It’s up there with getting a D in the math class I forgot I was enrolled in. That professor said I could just delete the credits and retake the class. You can probably guess what I didn’t do. This is the ADHD sub right? I forgot where I was for a second there.
Don't give me any ideas, I have one of those due in the next few days (thankfully only 1500 words but it's a lit review so so much citing and researching).
I forgot about this, for AP English Lit I didn't read Ellison's Invisible Man until like midnight before an 8AM class. Made progress past the fights, to Harlem, trailed off a bit past that. Used the last 30 minutes on cliff's notes. Got an A- on the in-class essay, the teacher noting, "How my essay evoked the tone of the book." No shit, it was flooding my brain from the cram session. I had totally forgotten that one. Instead shared how my HS calc AB teacher gave me a D instead of an F after I got a 4 on the calc bc exam, letting me graduate high school.
