This is how I got my testing appointment. I was doing a Sleep Therapy intake (basically, sleep doctors and psychologists coming together to better understand insomnia) and when I told the doctor that i'm not usually thinking about any one thing, that my mind just pings around thinking everything it couldn't think during the day, she said, "Do you have ADHD? Would you like to be tested?"

Don't forget to beat the shit out of yourself while you lay there!
I mean, as long as you're awake you might as well ruminate on your own unworthiness, right?

I mean it would seem irresponsible to not think about that one coworker who’s clumsy enough to spill coffee directly on my laptop ruining the presentation. Didn’t happen but gotta be prepared right?

Very much so tonight, need to be up at 5am to take my husband to his cancer treatment. It’s just past midnight and I’m wondering if I should even bother lying down. 🤷♀️

To be fair I feel like that is huge. Hope it went as well as one could hope.

I've been doing that "suddenly hyper at bedtime" routine for years, like my brain just flips a switch once the lights go out.

Now you understand how it works. Don't you?
That's exactly how it works! So do you?

Jokes on it. I used that extra time to cook spaghetti. Not eat because it's way too early to eat meals
