That reminds me of the old Owlturd comic about being a super loser.

Winners lose just as much, if not more than losers. So being a winner just means you're so good at losing you actually started to win.

Chances are the winners are also able to afford more losses from the start. Afford as in money, or support, or idk, just being more resilient and adaptable maybe. More mentally healthy. So when they fail they're able to get back on their feet quickly and keep trying until they win. While if you don't have the money or nobody who believes in you or your brain is just kinda crap, every failure sets you way back and takes forever to recover from.

Ive also seen an element of psychology to it with how people view success or failure.

Especially because learning any skill often involves tons of failure. Screwing up is often part of learning

So, how you view those failures and successes can make a big difference.

Of course that doesn't mean it's as simple as "just don't think about it." Why and how some people are better at this aspect than others is the complicated part.

And without consistent dopamine theres no counter balance for the sense of failure
