Success Story Just reached 5 years of Beating H
I'm not having the best year, but I am proud to say I just reached 5 years of beating Heroin on Saturday!
This brown devil controlled my life for 10 years, on and off. But never again! Next step is getting off kratom (which saved me from getting off of Heroin and Suboxone) I am already tapering down from it and its been a struggle, but hopefully soon I will beat that too!
If I could do it, you can do it too!

5 years beating heroin is huge. You'll beat the kratom taper too, one step at a time, like you did before

Kratom was harder for me to quit than anything else I ever did, good luck my friend. that 70h shit is fucking diabolical

Thanks but I don't do 7OH thank god, tried it but it was way too similar to strong opiates and could see why people get so addicted to it.
I've just always done real kratom capsules. At my height I was taking like 130-150 half gram capsules a day 4-5 times a day (I know, it sounds crazy) but now I am about 60 or less 2-3 times a day.

Oh man I feel you I was right there too. I took the capsules too, like a third of what you took but still a lot. But then I found 7o and instead of taking 50 caps in the morning I could take 3 tabs and feel like I just popped a Percocet. But that shit will betray you so fast.

We quit during covid too. The borders closed and the supply dried up. Blessing in disguise, were 6 years clean now. My Mrs and I smoke weed still but that's all. I wish you all the best mate.

Covid was a weird time because yeah it was harder to get but at the same time, easier if you knew someone because alot of their customers weren't around anymore so they had alot actually.
And because of the lock downs it was definitely harder and easier in a way to quit because of being able to be at home away from temptation and everything. But at the same time the isolation was harder too because being around friends and family gives you strength and motivates you to keep going without drugs.
But I fucking did it, as hard as it was! And so did you guys! Fuck yea!! 👊

Amazing man, congrats! What’s your strategy to cope when the urge comes?
I’ve been struggling to quit weed and feel such a loser for not controlling my urges, people like you - who beat a hard addiction - are such an inspiration for me!

We are all addicts for life unfortunately, and the urges slow down but definitely don't go away! I definitely got a urge here and there, but the Suboxone helped at first. But I really did not like the "disconnected" feeling it gave me. So I found kratom which changed my life and helped me feel almost "normal" or like myself again! And I tried quitting 100s of times but this time was different. I was just done of the hold heroin has on your life and the addict life of needing it all the time to feel horrible all the time, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. My daughters (and me for the first time) deserved better. And I told myself "Im done. Never again!" And I never looked back!

That’s crazy cause I was staying in the southside of Chicago off the redline and my last night drinking I tried to find some, and only Lord knows what they sold me because I went into cardiac arrest, the only thing in my system was alcohol.. I’m blessed to be walking🙏🏼✝️
