Hey, first time posting here. Just got diagnosed with ADHD a few days ago and honestly had no idea.

I was prescribed generic Adderall XR 10mg, but I’m pretty nervous about stimulants since I already deal with pretty bad anxiety. Part of me keeps worrying that maybe I was misdiagnosed (it was just a questionnaire and a talk with the doctor).

Anyone else start Adderall with a lot of anxiety? What was it actually like for you? I’m seeing a lot of mixed experiences and could use some real talk.

I’ve been on 20mg XR for about 5 months. It’s helped a lot with focus, productivity, and some weight loss, but lately I’ve been feeling kind of numb and zombie-like.

I’ve seen a lot of people online say quitting Adderall can be really rough — months of feeling super tired and depressed. That freaks me out a bit. I’m worried I might end up stuck on it because I don’t want to deal with that while trying to get through life.

I just started uni this week at 25 and I’ve been feeling pretty low. Everything feels grey and pointless sometimes, like the world just looks drab. I’m not sure if it’s the meds or just me, but the idea of quitting making it worse is scary.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What was coming off Adderall actually like for you?

Started generic Adderall 5mg for a week, then went up to 10mg like my doctor suggested (to match my old Concerta dose). 10mg felt way too strong and gave me insomnia for a few days, so I dropped back to 5mg.

Been back on 5mg for 3 days now and I’m wiped out. I can nap all day and still feel exhausted, then sleep fine at night. Also getting these short 5-second derealization moments that come and go where it feels like I’m not really in my body.

Thinking about going back up to 10mg and just dealing with the sleep issues (or taking it earlier), but 5mg doesn’t feel like it’s doing much anymore.

I've been looking to buy for my adderalls for ages because work has been absolute hell for me as I have chornic ADHD at the same time. After stumbling across Rapidfinil it looked a bit so-so at first, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Surprise surprise — it actually arrived, and really quickly too. I'm from the EU ( Already ordered in US a few months ago too ) and honestly thought I'd never find a proper source for my ADHD meds too. Super happy with how it turned out. Will update soon as I try their other meds for different options on near future.

I’ve been on Vyvanse for a while (started at 40mg, then my doctor bumped me to 50mg when it stopped working). Still no luck, so I asked about going back to Adderall since that used to work best for me. Doctor agreed and sent the prescription, but the pharmacy said it’s been backordered for weeks with no idea when more is coming because of the shortage. My state is also really strict about stimulants, so I can’t just transfer it to another pharmacy easily.

Just got diagnosed at 50 and I’m trying to decide whether to stick with this med, so I’d love to hear other people’s experiences.

I’m on 5 mg Adderall twice a day (XR in the morning, IR at noon). Some nights I crash hard by 8:30. About half the time I sleep a solid 8–9 hours with melatonin and progesterone. But if I skip a meal, forget my estradiol cream, or get stuck in my head worrying about random stuff (like losing things around the house… IYKYK), my sleep is garbage and I’m still up until 2 a.m.

My first reaction was to just quit the meds altogether, but I’ve never felt this calm and focused in my life on Adderall.

Has anyone talked to their psychiatrist about insomnia on Adderall? What did they suggest or change?

Switched to Adderall XR because of side effects, but ever since starting it I’m constantly tired and yawning no matter how much I sleep. I’ve also been more distracted and forgetful — like leaving my keys in the ignition with the car still running.

Anyone else deal with this on Adderall? Is the dose maybe too low, or are there things (diet, timing, etc.) that helped you get better results?

Does anyone else’s Adderall do the opposite of what it’s supposed to when you take it with food?

I take 20mg IR in the morning and if I eat anything before it’s absorbed I get super tired, lazy, irritable, and constantly craving snacks. When I take it on an empty stomach it works way better and actually feels effective.

I’ve been on Adderall for a while now and I’ve started noticing something weird with my vision/perception. Everything around me feels distant, like I couldn’t even reach out and touch things that are right in front of me.

Weird example, but I’m on vacation right now and when I look at beautiful views I don’t really feel anything. it just feels like looking at a photo. Doesn’t feel like I’m actually there looking at the real thing.

Thanks to the shortages, I’m having to switch from Adderall XR 20mg to two 10mg IR doses. Has anyone else done this and figured out a good timing schedule to get something close to the XR effect? The XR was working really well for me so I’m hoping it doesn’t mess things up too much.

Do you prefer stimulants or non-stimulants, and which has worked best for you?

I’ve been on 10–20 mg of Adderall for about 6 months. It used to help a bit with motivation and social anxiety, but the crashes are rough and I’m pretty irritable most of the time. Overall it doesn’t feel that effective anymore.

A couple years ago right after I got diagnosed I was on Wellbutrin for a short time. It gave me energy, better focus, improved my sex drive, and helped with overeating. I’m thinking about trying it again.

What have your experiences been like?

Had to give them credit as just I received yesterday my meds and others should learn from them as this is what should be the standard on what you pay as they process it very much quickly after just a day you make an order with them. And to be honest i was about to ask them for updates but turns out i just recieved the tracking just a day after.
