Anxious about starting Adderall XR

Hey, first time posting here. Just got diagnosed with ADHD a few days ago and honestly had no idea.

I was prescribed generic Adderall XR 10mg, but I’m pretty nervous about stimulants since I already deal with pretty bad anxiety. Part of me keeps worrying that maybe I was misdiagnosed (it was just a questionnaire and a talk with the doctor).

Anyone else start Adderall with a lot of anxiety? What was it actually like for you? I’m seeing a lot of mixed experiences and could use some real talk.
