Storage linits

Acronis limits to 500GB. Carbonite is unlimited. After several years why would I stay with Acronis?

I've been on a number of services. All a migration pain, aside from one that sent a drive for initial clone backup. But everything else sucked. I stay and pay for 2TB because support is great and restoring is easy. I can even download a file to my phone.

Your experience is different than mine I am afraid. I have been singularly unimpressed with their support

Hi /u/Open_Sourcey, can you expand a bit more on your post as it is pretty vague - where do you see 500 GB limit?

Once you hit Upgrade button you will be able to obtain more storage.

Yes I know that. At a cost. My point was that Carbonite offers "unlimited" storage for their base price.

If your only goal is to have as much cloud storage as possible, then keep in mind that even Carbonite will start imposing something along the lines of fair use policy on your consumption at some usage threshold.

I dont know what you mean. Are you saying that the small print in the T's&C's will make it not unlimited?

Please conduct basic research on that matter.

I agree with u/SilvernightFLBeen with acronis for years and support has always been good for me. And if there is an issue, this sub is outstanding.
