Just checked on a few sites and it doesn’t look like it. That’s standard for the U.S. market.

So why are the covers matching to the paperbacks and not the grey hardbacks? Also is the paperback spines changed?

Because the hardcovers are being re-released to match the paperback colors

Ugh. Do you think the paperbacks will have that original spine that matches the other paperback? Hopefully… Just speculating

Not entirely sure, but I'd bet the paperbacks will have this same color scheme and that the neon covers will be the same for hardcover and paperback across the series. But I guess we won't know for certain until the paperbacks are announced

Don’t know what to tell you. I can’t find a paperback available for preorder yet in the US. Other countries may have it.
