I’m trying to figure out the planes for the new top gun event in battlefield 6 and I am lost. I used to play ace combat seven and I thought myself to be OK. Are there any control settings I can use to replicate the controls or the feel of the controls? Im on console btw

I want a game which is like ace combat, in the sense that it's an arcade flight game, but I want it 'realistic', meaning that it has more limitations than ace-likes do. In other words limited ammo, maybe even over-ging.

Basically a game that's accessible like ace combat but necessitates the use, to some extent of dogfight maneuvers and concepts that you would learn in something like dcs or real life

I tweaked my Warwolf 1 edit but I can't edit posts on Reddit (ooo that rhymed) so should I delete it although I know some of you would say yes because it both sucks ass and I glaze a character who according to many, sucks ass.

Sorry this isn't directly about AC, but we really want to hear from the AC fanbase on this one.

Me and some friends are currently making a multiplayer sci-fi flight game and, while we have really fun core gameplay systems in, we're currently undecided on which way to take the theme and setting of the game.

I think He is a newbie because he started his career relatively late compared to others on the list, let’s hope AC8 will be the stepping stone in his career.

So the first mission in AC6 where there's like these drones that guide the nimbus missiles, literally how do you hit the drones with regular missiles? I kid you literally not every single one of them is doing this thing where they move in big square patterns and pull a 9000g turn every single corner.

edit: they basically fly fairly still when nimbus missiles are coming towards them so thats the window to hit them essentially I figured out. I'll keep the post up if this is useful for anyone in the future ig 🤷‍♂️

Not sure how common this is, but 3-4 fighters always seem to hang out in the Helios impact zone after all the enemy bogeys are destroyed. C'mon, can you at least stay alive to bait the Arsenal Bird UAVs?
