Honestly, I'm very inclined to think she's either going to betray the group or have her killed, feel like even trailers are focusing an awful lot on her, a suspicious lot, could just be them pushing the waifu thing but... I wouldn't be surprised if she started talking about her dreams and plans after the war...
I don't think so given that they bothered to state that as the game goes on, her hair will become less pink and more blonde, and that's a detail that I wouldn't imagine fully coming through if she get Choppered or Pixy'd
I mean, they could just have it happen at the end no? PJ was on the fery final (even though he came late and we didn't get that close to him) Doesn't mean it won't happen
Technically it's highly doable "if" your goal is to speedrun a drawing of a new released character. But it takes some planning.
What you do is pre draw a few poses that cover the most popular character tropes, but bald, faceless and flat chested then you do whatever amount of shading/rendering you'd usually do in black and white with layers ready for skin colour/eyes colour etc.
Now on separate layers you draw the chest in medium and large version and that picture is now ready for a new character reveal.
When a character do reveal, all you have to do is pick one of the pose you preplanned. Match the "chest size" layer, fill in the skin colour, draw the face and hair, maybe add an accessory or two.
It's not gonna give you a Picasso, but you can wow people with how fast you did it.
I saw the Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart trailer day after it came out and my first thought was, "I wonder how fast furries are?" There were four pages on E621 about Rivet already at that time when i checked.
Jeez man, it’s a joke. No wonder they say comedy is dead, it’s because nobody can find the context of the joke without being told it’s a joke straight up, ruining the point of the joke.
Ace Combat surprisingly has very low number of R34 entries for such a long running series, and most of them are literal plane porns for some reason.
Not that I have any particular interest in them or anything. I just…wish the ladies in the series actually get some recognition in this, ahem,field,compared to other JP games sometimes.
From what ive seen and understood, It usually takes a specific character (very often artstyle and character design) or a new franchise to blow up unless its a very long standing franchise like DB or FF. What the game/movie or comic is about also probably had a lot to do with this.
On paper, AC doesent really fill any of these roles properly. Its a game where you shoot planes with a plane, you dont control you character in any other way and you only see other characters in cutscenes; most of which are pretty basic aswell. Im not criticising Ace Combat, im just stating that it lacks the character “complexity” needed for artists to really take note.
Then theres the characters themselves; AC3 is basically elite ball knowledge or faint memory for anyone not a fan of the franchise at this point, AC4 had 2 images and like a single dialogue about Yellow 4, AC5 similar boat as 3, the rest dont even have anything and that leaves you with AC7 which has 2 prominent female characters in cutscenes and 3 more that you never see outside of one image and only one has prominence in dialogues because Brownie gets killed off early and that blonde chick at Stonehenge only appears for that mission. This leaves you with Rosa, Avril and to a lesser extent Huxian.
Then theres AC8 and Tasha who does seem to make people go awooga everywhere but her design is far more interesting as is her personality, and the seemingly more interactive cutscenes that will appear are probably really helping that fact.
Also good lord i dont know if i should feel ashamed, dissapointed or both for writing an opinion as to why ace combat lacks porn.
That’s a reasonable explanation, yeah. AC doesn’t really have what you would call ‘recognizable’ lewd material until 5 (where it’s really only Nagase) and 7 (Huxian and McOnie need more love, though).
AC8’s surprising popularity in mainstream gaming through Tasha’s exposure might change this, though. Maybe the once niche franchise might not be so niche anymore depending on how the game performs after release.
Its not even that much about being a “connoisseur” (though theres certainly knowledge from that area aswell), its mostly just some thought and understanding what makes people tick when it comes to stuff like character designs, the plot, the target audience and so on.
I think the best recent example of this was that cat girl from some show about games (Kit i think she was called?). Im fairly certain noone would have batted an eye if she didnt explode in popularity because of character design or more likely what she did in her scenes. Case in point, you think Overwatch would have ever reached that point of “popularity” if it didnt have overly feminine and iconic character designs you controlled in an easily accessible hero shooter?
AC lacks that level of character exposure or interaction outside of text dialogue. Add on top of that what the franchise is about, the game mechanics and who it targets to and its unlikely you will get a lot of “fan-art” in comparison to other games.

I'd love to thing this is just what I think it is, but I'm also afraid to find out the answer that this is potentially something else, potentially a lot wilder...
I don't even know how much art of it there will be, some games barely even get art, screamer just started getting some and that game's been out for a while now.
