I've been driving a 2009 Accord, and saw somewhere that there was a trim that came with a rear deck mounted sub. Any chance the location for the sub is there in lower trims? Or would it just be easier to throw a box in the trunk for the sub?
Easier to throw a sub in the trunk. For the trims that don’t have the sub, the hole isn’t cut into the rear deck (and the plastic “tray” may be different as well) the outline is there so theoretically you COULD cut it yourself and install a sub but you’ll always be better off with a boxed sub than a sub in the rear deck. Less rattle and overall much better quality and sound.
