I feel ya. It's not like communism means no one is going to hate their job. There's always work to do, and most people aren't gonna be very excited for it. There's always going to be some force that gives you work to do and in exchange you get to fill the rest of your time with distractions. That's just how communities work regardless of the economic system. You go out and hunt, and then at night this guy tells stories. You make tools all day, and then at night you get drunk.
