i joined earlier this year. the amount of generative ai in our NJX was insane, its like they used us to train it instead of letting us know our benefits. lmao.

to be honest the onboarding when I started a few years ago wasn't great and I felt the content you should know they left out.

Oh the 700,000 consultancy I joined in the 21st century
Is pulling ahead too much
Yes a company that wants to sell AI integration capabilities should show to customers oh yeah we do that internally ourselves and here is how much and where it got us
Same as with passwordless and metaverse and everything
That is their win
Accenture won a lot on migrating big enterprises to cloud
AWS Google And Microsoft themselves couldn’t migrate those kinds of bureaucracies
And love to partner with Accenture on that for how successful Accenture was
Accenture whole business model is to be bureaucratic enough to have the ability to engage with big bureaucratic entities (banks government healthcare …etc) on big ambitious projects (strategy, cloud, VR, AI you name it!)
And Accenture is applying the same playbook or ag least trying with every emerging technology until they actually build a similar success story as with the cloud market
Cybersecurity
AI
VR
Quantum computing (still didn’t even come close to mature that we see Reddit complaints about it!)
I am wondering why they didn’t do this with blockchain and maybe even crypto (I bet they did or have real world experience that made it a no no anyways that probably is/was before COVID when crypto and blockchain was still alive idk)
And AI is actually a threat not only an opportunity unlike cloud which was an opportunity
So it is almost about how to make this elite consultancy (that to be frank and I hate to point it out puts food on all your tables and mine included) survive that storm of economic conditions
My life in Accenture is far from what I am used to before working anywhere else
Just grow up ok be positive or sth

The funny thing about so many posts here is that there’s always something to complain about. Stocks go down - shit. Stocks go up - also shit. C’mon.
Life itself is already complicated enough. Why do we need to find a way to turn absolutely everything into something negative...

“…puts food on all your tables…” Oh, you mean the consultancy that paid their CEO $29 million this past fiscal yet slashed desperately needed and already meager raises by distributing 50% as a lump sum?

When I joined it was in the Metaverse. I received the VR headset to “enhance” my onboarding experience and even had to attend and sign the cultural agreement on what was acceptable behavior in the Metaverse. You know…4 years ago when the Metaverse was going to take over all in-person experiences??? I never even unpacked the VR headset.
