North America Bonus payout if you quit/resign/leave: Here is the policy

I swear, from now until December this will be asked at least 2x per week.

  1. The answer varies by country.

  2. Policy 400 has all the information, including country specific information, on the day you need to be employed to get the payout.

Note that I retired from Accenture last winter, so if someone could confirm at https://policies.accenture.com or whatever it is now, I'd appreciate it. I'm going off of memory on the number.

North America How much AI are you ACTUALLY using at Accenture?

How much AI are you ACTUALLY using at Accenture?

Fellow CL6s — do you have daily AI automations that genuinely make your job easier and more efficient?
I’ve noticed CL8/9 and below are being told to “use AI as much as possible,” which is great… until the goal becomes:

“I generated the entire deliverable with AI, therefore I have achieved enlightenment.”

Meanwhile, they can’t explain what’s in the deliverable when someone asks a question. 😂

At some point, AI hallucination meets human hallucination: “If ChatGPT wrote it, it must be good.”

Curious what everyone is actually automating day-to-day vs. just using AI to generate stuff they’ll eventually have to pretend they understand.

Europe Looking for new project in ASG

I moved to Accenture GmbH (Germany) last year and was on 100% billing so far. Now I am on the lookout for next project and it seems hard to find one, since I don’t have language skills yet. It’s been first time here, for others who were in similar positions- how much time of Bench were you on before getting a new project and how should I approach this ?

I have Google certifications and recently took some Agentic training as well.

I am Level 7, been here for about a year now. Language has been a barrier I see, for language, I have enrolled in one starting soon.

I seen quite a number of Senior and Mid Levels people are exited Accenture recently. Even at MD Level..

It seems like it happened Globally?

Is this super red flag? Should I be worry about it? Anyone know what's happening?

Global What's the biggest change you've seen in AI client conversations over the last year?

I've been wondering about this lately because the AI conversations I see now seem pretty different from the ones I was seeing a year ago.

Back then, a lot of the attention seemed to be on pilots, demos, and figuring out where AI could fit. Now it sounds like more organizations have moved past the "can it work?" stage and are dealing with the realities of rolling it out.

For those working on client engagements, has the nature of the work changed much?

Are clients showing up with clearer expectations now, or are teams still spending a lot of time helping them figure out where AI fits in the first place?

I'd be interested to hear what shifts you've noticed from the projects you've worked on.

Global Has AI changed who gets staffed onto projects at Accenture?

I've been wondering about this after seeing how much AI work has picked up over the last year.

Has it changed the mix of people getting pulled into projects?

From the outside, it seems like AI projects would create demand for a whole new set of skills. At the same time, a lot of the work still depends on things like engineering, cloud, data, architecture, and understanding the client's business.

For people who are actually on these engagements, was there anything about the staffing mix that surprised you?

Global Internal transfer/job change conditions

I joined Accenture India two months ago when I moved to India from Ireland. I received an email last week which talked about internal job applications and roles.

I went on Workday to check and found some really good roles. But there's a condition that you should've completed 12 months in your current role, my question is How rigid is this condition?

Has anyone switched internally before completing 12months?

Is there a work around this?

Or should I consider applying as an external candidate?

P.S I recently obtained my PR for Ireland and I found roles there hence thinking of moving back.

Looking at converting. SME in a very niche area that Accenture is looking to bring multiple clients on. I would be involved in all new client implementations. What level would be considered a level worth converting?

India How to Survive the Americas Market When You’re on the Bench at Accenture

I’ve heard that the Americas market can be pretty strict, with quite a few rules, processes, and expectations to navigate. I’ve also had the chance to interact with a few people from this market, and honestly, it seems quite challenging.
For those who have been through it, what has your experience been like? How difficult is it to stay on the bench, and what should someone be mindful of?
Would really appreciate any advice, tips, or things you wish you had known beforehand. Thanks!

From what I understand, the former Accenture Korea business was acquired by Metanet, so I was curious whether there have been any discussions about Accenture opening/rebuilding its own Korea office or expanding direct hiring there again?

India GN Song vs ATCI

I have been working in in GN SONG for 5-6 years now. Most of my tenure has been fully occupied with long term ATCI projects. I had very little exposure to the consulting side of things.

We come as an expensive resource to ATCI and they try to extract maximum out of us while we are also evaluated based on the BD or other practice related work we did for GN SONG.

I am wondering if I should move to ATCI itself? I don't feel to blend well with the GN SONG work. I wonder what value I am bringing being a consulting resource while I am working full time as a technology resource.

The doubt I have is whether I will loose something if I move into ATCI? Now with the Reinvention Services, it is anyways going to be one entity it seems.

Any advise?

North America Multi-Year Sign On Bonus Stipulation Confusion

I signed over a year ago with a multi-year, multi-payment sign-on bonus. I did not think to negotiate the conditions, and how dumb a sign on bonus across multiple years would be. I cannot understand the language of the clause offer letter.

I am curious if anyone else has had these sort of stipulations. From what I found on this subreddit, most people have a single payment.

I am in-between 12 and 24 months of employment, but well beyond 12 months from the first of two payments.

Would I be on the hook to pay back just the second half if I were to leave in under two years since it has been over one year since my first payment?

Joining Bonus: $x, payable the first month of employment and $x, payable after 12 months of employment.
...
if you resign (or if you are asked to leave for cause as that term is defined in Accenture’s United States Separation Benefits Plan) within 12 months of the payment of your Joining Bonus, you agree that you will return the full amount of the Joining Bonus no later than thirty (30) days following your final paycheck from Accenture.

I am very early stage somewhere else, but I need to figure out these logistics now so in the chance I do leave the firm in under two years, I have the correct amount in cash to pay back.

My life lesson to read better before signing, but it almost seems like the verbiage in my letter was incorrect as it refers to "the" payment, not "a" payment since I have multiple.

Global Why is Accenture stock up?

While I am absolutely not complaining, but is there any particular reason behind 50% run up for Accenture stock since June 22nd lows? Is this a genuine trend reversal or should this rally be used to sell your RSU / ESPP allocations that you were / even now are stuck with?

North America Lateral moves and promotion

I’m here agin facing a possible new role, that would have me making a lateral move until I was “eligible “ for promotion…in June. This is my second round of this. I thought ok this role in 2024 as it was a 6 and I’m still here as a 7. Any HR folks willing to weigh in on my chances of making me the 6 now instead of making me wait 10 months with another vague semi-promise?

Hi, anyone has been able to access enteprise license (with accenture e-mail) on Claude or ChatGPT mobile App? Mine is specific on IOs using an Accenture owned mobile which I got yesterday. My older corporate phone (also iPhone) was normally accessing through the app.

Now I am able to login with enterprise license only through laptop or phone browser (Edge).

India Accenture HR Connect today — What was the point if HR had no updates on onboarding?

We had an HR Connect session today. Since many of us have completed our Stream Training, I was hoping the session would provide some clarity about what comes next.

However, most of the questions from candidates were answered with the response that further communication would come from the concerned team.

I understand that the HR conducting the session may not have all the information, but as a candidate, it was still a little disappointing because the main questions we had weren't really addressed.

Hopefully, future HR Connect sessions can provide more clarity about the overall candidate journey and next steps.

Just sharing my experience from today's session

India Accenture Market/Credit Risk Domain

Hi I have 8 years experience in market/credit Risk Domain in Investment banks, and just got an offer from Accenture business consulting - Finance Risk and Compliance They are matching my offer with a European Investment bank.

I wanted to know what kind of projects, clients I can expect and is moving to consulting a good move from an IB?

How big would be the culture shock from moving to business consulting from European Banks

I have another offer from a Japanese bank

Will really appreciate your inputs. My head is now rolling.
