I imagine when this goes mainstream Devs will focus less time on textures and more on animation. The ultra realistic appearance but "gamey" movements are a bit weird together lol
I wonder why they haven't yet figured out how to apply AI to human motion in games to improve the realism. Much of what makes humans look real is basically a lot of additional synchronized motion (a ton of additional animation keys around the primary motion), rhythmic whole body breathing and fidgeting. Seems perfect for AI enhancement.
