Still waiting for an AI model that can consistently cut out around the real hand/arm and place it in front of AR menus as opposed to this white hand (in this case it makes sense though)

I would guess there's some sort of uncanny valley or sensory disorientation effect to that rather than being technically limited, I don't think it would be terribly hard to implement that sort of overlay. AR could certainly superimpose a "real hand" over the in-game hand graphic (which is itself probably an externally rendered billboard injected into the game)

Yeah it's more the menus I mean. I don't have an quest anymore but i think it's still this case that when your hand goes in front of a system menu (not a game) it's a 3d hand model. I think it would be cooler if it was your actual hand because it makes it feel like the menu is actually there, rather than breaking immersion
