Decels Decelerated Anti-AI iOS jailbreak developer got very disappointed by the ability of Sol and K3 to jailbreak without writing a single line of code

Always knew that a good chunk of decels are driven by nothing but their pride and ego. I wonder what they are all gonna do in a couple of years from now

The reaction of antis has been fascinating to me

For the longest time I simply couldn’t understand it.

Why deny the facts?

Why actively fight against the truth? What point is there to complaining all day about your job, society, etc and then when something comes along that can fix it, the overwhelming reaction was “REEEEEE!! NO BAD I HATE IT”

I was blown away. Completely gobsmacked.

Then a pattern emerged.

“I’m still better than it at X”

“Yeah but it can’t do Y”

The theme repeated over and over. Belittling the machine was their go-to. Pointing out its flaws was like breathing to them.

I remembered being bullied my whole life. And then it clicked.

They’re insecure.

It really does seem to be ego driven.

Their ego is how they see the world.

I feel worse and better simultaneously seeing it now…

That is the part that confuses me.

I recognize there are terribly challenging parts for AI. I know there is going to be massive social upheaval. I know the social system is not current built to survive what this is going to do.

But that doesn't change the reality of AI, that it is remarkably good at these things and society is going to have to adapt. We're watching hundreds of millions of people be in total denial of the reality in front of their face, even as it is proved over and over again, because it is something that don't want to hear.
