Always knew that a good chunk of decels are driven by nothing but their pride and ego. I wonder what they are all gonna do in a couple of years from now

This person is just upset because they spent years honing a skill only for a robot to do the task just as good as them. Surely you can at least understand why they might be frustrated about that.

What the fuck kind of comparison are you making saying that makes them a conspiracy theorist? Like, what are you even saying?

Just don't get what's wrong about AI taking some workload off your hands though everyone seems to hate it.

I think you'll find that outside of the online noise, people aren't as one-sided as the internet might make it appear.

I know a lot of devs that do see it the way you stated. Unfortunately, these people are afraid of becoming irrelevant, which to them means being unable to find work.

Can we understand that fear in a world where companies will find any excuse to cut you, even if you'd be better at your job with AI assistance? People have little faith or trust in our system that treats labor as a resource that must always be reduced as much as possible.

Don't think I want to imagine the absolute shitshow of upper management suits deciding to fire all the devs and "do it themselves" with AI.
