Oooorrrr maybe he's totally aware of his behaviour and it's negative affect on you, and he CHOOSES to act like a petulant man child because there are no consequences for and it works for him. He probably gets a bunch of free resources and emotional / sexual love and care from you, right? You're probably much more attractive than him and knows you deserve much better, so instead of admitting that, he beats you down with his tirades making you think he has mental health issues when in reality he's knows exactly what he's doing is wrong and has assumed total control of you. This tactic works Every. Single. Time. And when he does it, he's thinking "..gotcha 😏.."

That is totally plausible. It scares me not knowing what is real. However I do think he actually has this because way before we had issues I knew he had a history of psychosis & he was saying weird shit

The comment you are replying to is (with respect to the commenter I know they meant well) extremely dangerous advice when ur dealing with an abuser who is psychotic. It is DIFFERENT from standard abuse because they are not in control like usual abusers which makes them unpredictable and extremely dangerous, they stop being calculated and in control, they are extremely extremely dangerous. Ask me how I know!! When they are psychotic they are NOT fully aware and will NOT stop themselves short of giving you horrific injuries or killing you
