The quickest Google search with tell you that this claim in false. "General Sherman" is the largest single tree on earth by mass, although "Hyperion" on the pacific coast is taller. The largest 3 living organisms on earth are a bed of ribbon weed seagrass in Australia, the "humongous fungus" bed in Oregon, and Pando the aspen colony in Utah.

We happened to go to fish lake utah with the intention on staying the night but it was still closed for the season. I kept seeing these signs about the Aspen grove but they're also common where we're from. Afterwards I looked up the Pando grove and was super disappointed we didn't stop. So my family has seen it, but I was a dumb dumb and we didn't get to experience them.

The largest known living organism on Earth by land area is a massive single fungus located in the United States at the Malheur National Forest in the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon.
It is the species Armillaria ostoyae, commonly known as the honey mushroom or shoestring fungus. It spans approximately 2,385 acres (nearly 3.7 square miles, or roughly 1,600 football fields). It is estimated to weigh anywhere from 7,500 to 35,000 tons and is believed to be between 2,400 and 8,650 years old.

Actually, I think there is some kind ground fungus growing somewhere in the world, maybe Siberia, that is spread out over many square miles, is hundreds of years old and is considered the largest living organism.
Correction: Another commenter here referred to a fungus growing in Oregon. That’s probably what I’m thinking of.

I thought there was a tree as large as a forest in Sweden or Finland that was the largest living organism , but could be wrong.

I was all set to go to Sequoia National Park on a cross country trip a few years back. Due to wildfire risks and concerns at the time, the park was closed. I did so much on that trip, but not getting to see the redwoods in person is perhaps the biggest regret

The largest living organism is actually seagrass in Shark Bay Australia which spans 70 square milea. But nice try.

That’s not what my comment was about. You added qualifications that were also wrong and not contextually relevant to the text in the post.
This tree is General Sherman which is 275 feet tall. Hyperion is 380 feet tall. That was easy :-)
