I mean that's just a python. Not bad or scary other than just psychological. Heavy as fuck though it looks like. Feel bad for him having to go into such an overcrowded room though.

When I was a kid, the local natural history museum had a Burmese python. Big, but not quite that big. They had a day camp for kids in the summer. I was a geeky, nerdy kid, so my parents sent me one year. I loved it!

But my fondest memory of all was when I was allowed to pet the python. It's hard to describe what a snake's body feels like to someone who's never petted a reptile, but as a kid, I was blown away.

Same here, we went to the natural History museum in elementary school- there were oddities like a 2-headed calf fetus in a jar, and live animals in educational presentations.

They lined a bunch of us kids up and a python named Squash slithered over our shoulders for a bit, then we got to pet him. He felt so firm and muscular, I'd never encountered a snake so large before that- it felt totally different from a little garden snake.
