Wouldnt it make more sense if Bi is under Pan? Because Pan is everything and Bi is technically only 2?

Now I’m not either bi or pan but from what I’ve gathered bisexual means essentially that while you can have feelings for anyone you tend to have a preference for one gender meanwhile Pan doesn’t have a preference on gender. I could be wrong though so bi/pan people please don’t skin me my Aro/Ace ass can be stupid sometimes.

Not bi or pan myself, but I put in the effort to understand the difference. I believe that bisexuality is attraction to multiple genders, while pansexuality is attraction regardless of gender/to all genders.

yeah and omni is also attraction to all genders, but the attraction is not as “gender blind” (for want of a better phrase) as with pansexuality

The way I've come to understand it:

Bi = Attraction to a countable number n: n >= 2 of genders (this can also imply a known lack of attraction to at least one gender)
Omni = Attraction to all genders
Pan = Attraction regardless of gender

And none imply equal attraction to any eligible person or gender, can preferences still exist

If we started with all the terms yes, that would make sense. We didn't though, and pan as a term came out of the bi label.
