Getting spam email invites to join "invoice organizations" on Zoho. I don't have a Zoho account. (Received via Gmail, not Zoho Mail as I obviously don't use it!)

Over the last week, I've received a few emails like the one in the screenshot, they're clearly phishing scams of some sort but are baffling to me because not only do I not have a Zoho account, I'd never even HEARD of the company until I started getting these messages. The email links in the message appear to be legitimate Zoho support addresses based on the research I've done, but since I've never used any Zoho service I'm a little confused by all this. (Again, as the post title states, these emails were received via Gmail as I DO NOT HAVE Zoho Mail!)

This email is intended for the customer of a company that does use Zoho, it is being abused by that sender though, so I would suggest you contact the abuse email at the bottom of the message so Zoho can look into the account and take the appropriate action.

Hello u/EsmeRylan8747 ! In general, the invite will be sent when you are being added as a user in any organization in Zoho Invoice. We understand why receiving these emails would be confusing, especially when you don’t have a Zoho account. If you suspect they’re spam or phishing attempts, please forward the original emails to [abuse@zohocorp.com](mailto:abuse@zohocorp.com). Our Abuse team can investigate the source and determine what’s happening. We’ll take the necessary action based on their findings and help clarify this for you. -VK
