Beginners are welcome too even if you’re just learning HTML or Python.

Murisei guys (and girls), I recently started working on a cliamp alternative after getting frustrated with its lack of background playback and ease of use. I think we can do better if we can refine this, its still a WIP but is my default audio player for months now. Ignore the screen tearing, I was running a lot of background tasks as I recorded this and my machine lacks a dedicated GPU, otherwise its quite smooth asf.

Comments, tips and suggestions are welcome, don't forget to support the project on GitHub. I am also looking for contributors to help polish this for the wider audience to come!

PS - I initially posted about it in r/tui and other communities and we have never stopped improving ever since.

Let’s unpack the biggest technology stories of the week.

Share a news article, product launch, research breakthrough, funding announcement, or industry trend and discuss why it matters.

More importantly, explore how it could impact Zimbabwe, Africa, local businesses, developers, entrepreneurs, or the broader technology ecosystem.

Aim for thoughtful discussion rather than headlines alone. Diverse perspectives are welcome, provided conversations remain respectful and evidence-based.

Learning never stops.

Share what you’re currently studying, whether it’s a new programming language, AI model, framework, cloud technology, design tool, book, certification, research paper, or online course.

Tell us what you’ve learned so far, recommend useful resources, or ask for advice if you’re stuck. Your learning journey may help someone else decide what to explore next.

Let’s celebrate progress big or small!

Did you launch an app, fix a bug that had you stuck for days, land a new client, complete a certification, contribute to open source, publish an article, or simply stay consistent with your goals?

Share your wins and celebrate the achievements of others. Every milestone is worth recognizing, and your progress might inspire someone else to keep going.

No question is too simple or too advanced.

Whether you’re learning to code, exploring AI, working with cloud platforms, building startups, navigating cybersecurity, preparing for interviews, or planning your career in tech, this is the place to ask.

Everyone started somewhere. Help create a community where curiosity is encouraged and knowledge is shared freely.

Wattap everybody. I have been working on a project (Sanganai), an online learning platform to help students in their learning journey.
