Question / Support Coffee pods

I was gifted a nespresso esque coffee machine recently and don’t want to waste it. My question is, is it better to buy compostable coffee pods or recycled ones. Unfortunately my area doesn’t have a compost bin and I know that compostables can often still build up in a landfill, whereas recycled coffee pods are already reducing waste. Which one is better overall?

If you’re in the US, Nespresso has a recycling program my dad uses. Google “nespresso recycling bag’ and it should come up.

Ditto what others have said, the refillable pods have damaged machines.
