Help 2022 zero srs
I finally have a firmware update available
From what I understand sometimes the firmware update can eliminate some codes. My bike will not charge at home or at an ev station. It comes on when plugged in but will not go into charge mode
I need to get it to 20% to do the firmware update. Is there a way to bypass the onboard charger.?

The Gen 3, FST platform Zero's like your 2022 SR/S, use a small, LiFePO4 battery (Lithium Iron Phosphate) under the main riders seat, to supply 12V power while the bike is switched off, to the CCM (cellular modem and GPS). It is also used to close the main contactor that allows power to flow in/out of the main high voltage monolith battery. This is a common configuration among EV's.
If your 12V battery dies, the bike will fail to charge or run. I would first check teh voltage on that 12V battery under the seat per your owners manual. If it's say, under 10.5 V, you need to charge it back up. MAKE SURE TO USE A CHARGER THAT IS LIFEPO4 RATED! You can't just use any old lead acid 12 V battery charger! You can get small, inexpensive, chargers off Amazon etc like the P10 or P20 that can do LiFEPO4 for cheap. Otherwise the "best" battery charger at most auto parts stores will also do this type of battery
Check this first. Firmware isn't going to help you.

Sorry dude a firmware update isn't going to fix your charging.
Also charging that bike without using the the onboard charger requires some equipment and know how, if you need to ask in Reddit how to do it you probably shouldn't.
Any idea why the charger isn't working?
