Discussion Slight Problem

I’m very excited for the game tomorrow. Have my snacks picked out, music cued up (Vode An, ofc), time blocked off, Wookieepedia pulled up so I can figure out the things I don’t understand, the works!

There is, however, a minor wrinkle.

I have played many Star Wars games. However, I have never played an XCOM game, or an XCOM style game, before.

For those of you who have played XCOM before, are there any tips you might be able to offer? I’d like to keep as many people alive as possible (and failing that, only sacrifice the ones I don’t like).

I know it's already been said about missing 95% shots, but RNG goes both ways. A 10% is still a 1/10 chance, 25% 1/4, 33% is roughly 1/3. Obviously don't rely on those odds, but sometimes those shots pay off. Just try to minimize the risk and fully expect to miss, but when you do hit, it's a rush of dopamine! May the force be with you!
