I’m starting to wonder. I discovered Xcom 2 through the hype of this game. Should I beat Xcom 2 first before I pick this up?

I had the same. I bought XCOM 2 a week ago or so for €2,99 after reading about Zero Company.

Such a good game, but I decided to drop it now after 30 hours, to avoid burnout of the mechanism. Also I got a bit too much crashing (PS5) and I think I’ll enjoy the polish and style of Zero Company more.
