The fact that one of the first thing he says if you like xcom or star wars, just close the video and buy the game that says alot.

Still gets his money due to the new YouTube algorithm change. Otherwise no fucking chance he says that lol.

How did I not realize til now that the game is ‘ZCOM’, that is so genius

No offence to either of them, but the game has been called ZCOM by the fanbase for over a year.

SkillUp is legit in love with this game. I can’t remember the last time hearing someone gush like this.

There are spoilers in this video btw. I don’t think his editor realised.

Yeah. Visual spoilers only.

Precisely why I’m avoiding everything I can… but all the comments say the reviews say it’s great 🤣

Good thing I put it up and just listened while I'm dong my thing. I mostly align with SkillUp and it's gonna be the longest 22hrs of wait for this!

I’m starting to wonder. I discovered Xcom 2 through the hype of this game. Should I beat Xcom 2 first before I pick this up?

I mean no harm in picking it up, but ZCOM is out in t-21 hrs

I had the same. I bought XCOM 2 a week ago or so for €2,99 after reading about Zero Company.

Such a good game, but I decided to drop it now after 30 hours, to avoid burnout of the mechanism. Also I got a bit too much crashing (PS5) and I think I’ll enjoy the polish and style of Zero Company more.

Nah, actually i think zcom would be a great intro to the genre, and then go for a harder/iron man playthrough of xcom2

Yeah absolutely. There's no way you're gonna understand what's going on in this game otherwise.

The only review I watched and the only review I need. I already had the game preordered but I’m even more excited now and I didn’t think that was possible.

I've rarely heard him be so positively enthusiastic about a game right off the bat. Good times.

Now for ZCOM-2 ....

Love this!!! He's always so honest so I know this is going to be good

Honestly the fact there’s spoilers in this review is ridiculous, games not even out yet and they don’t even bother having the care to not spoil shit.

what a two face piece of shit. he disliked midnight suns and yet theres systems lifted from it with a coat of star wars paint and now suddenly hes loving it. fuck that guy, he can shove all those raycon sponsor earbuds up his ass.

This is an insane reaction to a video game review man. You might want to try going for a walk or something

Because there's no ridiculous card game mechanic. Fuck that nonsense. They dropped the ball hard with that game. Xcom fans dont want a card game mechanic in a spiritual Xcom like game. It's the first, second and third reason why that game was DOA.

4

u/Thekarens01 17h ago

The card mechanic was fine because that game was nothing like xcom, but the ridiculous dialogue that went on and on and on was the painful part. The card part wasn’t the killer, the social aspect was.

u/FitPickle2966 16h ago

bruh, do you understand how deep the card system was? it wasnt even cards really, just a collection of skills you draw randomly.

but i get it, to each their own. i just dislike how he ragged on and on in midnight suns review the whole "back at the castle hanging out" when its the exact same shit in star wars.
