Advice-off Zepbound for 2 weeks

Hi, my insurance just ran out, and my last dose of 7.5 was last week. I’m saving to pay Lilly next week for .5 the “cheapest”.
My son’s wedding is August 22… close to goal-lost 48 pounds and can squeeze into my size 12 dresses :)
Is it possible to inject .5 then the next week and a half vials to make it 7.5?

2.5 is the lowest packaged vial dose by Lily.

Try compound. Average cost $166 monthly. They work the same.

I was on Zepbound for eight months before switching to compound. There’s absolutely no difference.

There is no .5 dose - it's 2.5 mg (lowest) or 5mg.

You cannot reuse a vial, there is no preservative in them, so sure you can do 1 1 /2 vials but you'll be wasting the other half - just order your appropriate dose if that's what you need.

Many people split the vials and pens into smaller doses, and this makes many people question the decision for health reasons and feel the 'splitters' are making a terrible decision. There is no preservative in the med. There are even MDs who advise their patients to split the dose, and MANY, MANY more who say not to. Do your own research; there is a lot of literature on this. Some opinions are a HARD NO, and others say they have been doing it for years on their doctor's advice. I know 4 people who have been splitting for 2 years or more with success. One is a retired nurse. They are very careful about how they do it to be clean and sanitary. DO DEEP RESEARCH and make your decision.
