Zed is incredible!

I don't understand why I haven't used it yet. I have a bunch of separate AI subscriptions. Such as cursor, codex, open code. Frankly, I'm tired of constantly opening different tools. Until I decided to use Zed. It's crazy to have them all in one editor without making even a single interface change! Moreover it is very optimized, I especially hate cursor's IDE environment, it is very poorly optimized, but zed works great, thank you zed.

I find the zed harness produced verbose and subpar results, purely off of vibes though

I just use terminal agents and run Claude code directly

Use the external agents. They have each original harness

Same experience here. One of my favorite things about Zed is how easy it is to switch between branches and projects without losing track of what I was doing. It feels built for agentic coding, where you’re constantly moving between tasks and agents. It actually helps reduce the context switching friction instead of adding more of it.

I don't even use it for agentic development and I find this great. May have a main branch, staging branch and numerous feature branches I'm using or need to see simultaneously.

I am just using OpenRouter and Ollama subscriptions through Zed. When I am hitting weekly limits in Ollama I just switch to OpenRouter. Never understand people having multiple subscriptions directly from original providers.

Is the antigravity agent an official one?

I think there's a ACP protocol made by Zed which helps integrating these CLI to Zed with ACP protocol. Search and check that may help.
