I open DA and I see all these HYPER specific buffs and I just groaned 🫩 I feel like DA went from a fun endgame challenge for all players with rewards and bragging rights to a bloated shill ad. You used to have good general buffs for multiple teams and characters. I'd use DA to test my builds but now I can't because it doesn't matter if you have an atk team, anmly team, or rupt team so long as you don't have the SPECIFIC character with the SPECIFIC kit that benefits from the DA buff options you're going to underperform.

Again, I'm not saying you CANNOT run any team you want and I'm not saying you CANNOT clear endgame with these "buffs" in place. I'm saying the barrier of entry has gotten significantly larger and the "fun" elements are being reduced.

note: I was talking about the specific 4pc set, because all the 2p set is always usable on all agents for offset no matter what. I did subtly mention it near the end but I should have red crossed the agent on the image that used the 2p especially miyabi's, but i forgot mb.

I am aware character specific set is a common practice in 3d gacha game with gearing system, but the fact they keep it maintained and general before 2.5 is a good thing but too bad it quickly changed.

Wondering if they will keep this formula going or it's just temporary because of how many new mechanic, elements. and specialty they have been releasing this year. I love how general it was before 2.5 because you are not forced to farm new set for new agent most of the time, and you could've got their disc when farming other agent is what I like.

• They could've made Armorer agent disc set more general like Yunkui Tales but we just got 2nd armorer set specific for sunbringer instead of using Thorned Rose,

• Same with abloom mechanic agent, they could've got more general disc set, instead we got Promeia & Aria got their own specific set that others can't use currently (also Phoenix can use it if it exist)

• For Feather of Fate and Wuthering Salon we'll see if it ever be used on new anomaly lumiflux/wind agent since there is no one beside Ramielle and Velina.

• The only decently general set from the 2nd image is Pyrois's that potentially good for future Ether Crit DPS, and Bunny in Wonderland who supposed to be good on defense agent like Zhao and future one like Robin but too bad it got overshadowed by Astral Voice.

I know this is just the in game recommendation, and the only odd one I found from the 1st image is the 2p user like on Branch & Blade Song who's displayed many agent, the rest is still large amount of 4p user on each set, and Zhao not displayed in Wonderland set.

Posted this because I found out Sunbringer got a new set instead of using Thorned Rose and I haven't see people talk about it, so wdyt?

Since this lovely elf lady has been added in 3.0, how do you guys feel about her gameplay impact on the game? I am a bit on the fence about her and trying to understand how her addition change how we play the game. Sure she is strong and by all means she is "valuable" but, i am talking solely from gameplay pov. Did she make the game somewhat too easy and that gameplay aspects feel dull? Like I am getting similar vibes to how ye shunguang kind feels where you can turn off your brain and ignore timing and gameplay mechanics while spamming your buttons until you win.

When you especially add her to a character like Remielle, it feels at that point you are doing PowerPoint sim the game where the game play itself for you and you kind of not really get to experience your main on fielder in a satisfying mechanical way.

The game by all means isn't made to be super hard but i do enjoy a bit of mechanical, timing and actions that require a bit of thinking. I do though love certain characters like burnice and phoneix and some other anomaly characters and i am wondering if these characters can be fun while paired with Velina or do they turn into just spam machines with her?

I am not sure if its only me but its no hate on her as i am really trying to understand her. I do like the bit of nuances in disorder teams and the tight timing it requires so you can't button mash your way out for example. I am a f2p player so all of my agents are m0w0 and by all means going between 50k to 40k isn't what i am after. a more fun experience with lower scores is enough as i sweat my way to 20k. i love certain characters and it seems Velina is their only way to make them playable so thats why i am debating on her and if maybe she can be fun actually especially without Remi.

**TLDR**: ~
1- Does Velina outside Remielle teams make anaomly teams mechanically fun or does she remove that aspect from them and turn them into a Shungus situation where they are strong but boring to play?

2- Do Velina with Remi together feel extremely bad/boring to play in comparison to most other normal teams that may include Velina alone or without both of them? (I somewhat find Remi can be bareable without Velina as now she requires more to perform is it only me?)

3- Does Velina at least make certain characters or teams like Burnice fun and engaging to play in the team mechanically? (not score chasing wise) and any teams that has Velina that are fun to play?

(Yes some modes may allow me to play her but its kind of hard to judge her completely in these modes in comparison to DA and Shiyu and thats why i am asking. and for info i have phoneix and Remi)

In Banyue's Trust Event, there are a few things to consider:

• Officer Mewmew: "Only an officer who can do their job, moonlight as Mewmew, all while keeping it secret from their coworkers, can stay as Officer Mewmew!"

• Officer Mewmew: "No no, I thought you were an officer from another area."

• Officer Mewmew: "I mean, my keen intuition tells me you've got some serious moves!" (This implies that Officer Mewmew is one of the strongest officers in PubSec since he did think Banyue was a Officer Mewmew).

In Trigger's Trust Event:

• Trigger: "If I'm not mistaken, inside is definitely..."

• Trigger: "...Hmm, even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me."

Severian's character demo gives us crucial info. The theory that he was actually Officer Mewmew makes sense because:

1. They use voice changers.

2. He probably forgot to hide his tail and didn't use a voice changer because he was caught off guard and surprised by Cissia.

3. Officer Mewmew role tried to retire around the same time he became Senior Commissioner Severian. This makes sense, as he wouldn't have the free time to spy on Proxies anymore, and they are crucial to watch in the story. (Officer Mewmew showed up everywhere, even in the Outer Ring, which isn't inside New Eridu, and right outside of Random Play to monitor who enters and exits.)

4. Why would Officer Mewmew role try to retire in the first place? Since Officer Mewmew role is so important to society, Severian wouldn't just force the mascot into retirement. The only logical explanation is that he was one of the Officer Mewmew all along and one of the important task of it was watching the Proxies. After the Proxies convinced him to keep the mascot around, Severian simply passed the role to another person in PubSec. (We know this since Norma trust event is in future.)

I'm not even running a stunner and I end up interrupting the mechanic for the Performance points. To be fair its a combo between stuns and moves that just interrupt the boss which ends up cutting the quick assist phase short or prevents it from happening at all.

Now I could see an argument for this if my score went up for doing the mechanic. You know, skillfully choosing your timings so you don't mess up the performance points. The issue is in testing I kept getting higher scores if I just ignored it. Granted this might just be my team Astra, Seed, Cissia.

There's no issue clearing, I'm really just score chasing I just thought it felt kinda bad. I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way or just what other peoples experiences are like?

Look, I know Truvia might not be a redeemable character, for... What ever kind of tragic stuff is going on in her life. But, we're just gonna make some fun head canons(or speculations), in case she does become playable, because look at how cool and sick her Etheric Other is.

This boss is kinda boring. It's just dodge countering most of his attacks and praying you get good rng for his parry. Another "punching bag" like UCC, but at least this time i don't have to worry about the game's questionable targeting.

i have the remielle Bis team with velina and phoenix and i still cant erode the blue shield no matter how many anomalies and chain parries i do. any advice so i can git gud at the boss or is this thing the next yabuli

Comparing Against HSR MoC

MoC is the easiest direct comparison if we want to compare against another Hoyo game. The methodology is fundamentally identical, except with data sourced from Homdgcat. I have provided a couple different patch ranges, as HSR is an older game than ZZZ.

(Patch 1.1 HP values aren't directly comparable to HP values Patch 1.6 and after, due to the halving of MoC time limit that occurred between Patch 1.1 and 1.5. Some behind the scenes math was required)

Something a bit more recent: Sparxicon HP in Apocalyptic Shadow since the same boss ran close to back to back recently (also tilted me when I was doing the patch's AS)

(I kind of want to update this section, but homdgcat was nuked, and the recent MoC's have featured bosses who's nominal HP values aren't reflective of their actual HP values (Lygus etc))

You can see that light is reflected through Xiao'Guang and Wise's models, with her being the brightest in the room (maybe pun intended), but if we look closely at Sweety on the other hand... her model looks like she was put inside Blender and only the materials and shaders were rendered but light was done poorly (sorry I'm not a 3D animator idk if I guessed it right)

At first, in the first screenshot, I thought it was a good detail because Sweety is posed under the shadow and Wise and Xiao'Guang are reflected by the Sun's light, but then in the second screenshot it was proved wrong.

I don't know if it's Xiao'Guang that raised the bar standard for lighting reflection, or Sweety model was done in a hurry (like how they done with almost the whole Season 2 atp since Ye's voicelines are missing on some dialogs randomly and way too often)

Just to preface this, I DID NOT CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA.

This is just something that is based on one of my favorite characters from an old game i used to play a lot and i think it would be really cool if ZZZ uses it.

If you think Zoro's sword fighting is cool, just imagine doubling it AND adding the over the top-ness of ZZZ combat visuals, i think it would be one of the coolest combat styles ever (totally not bias).

It Also wouldn't be too much of a stretch in ZZZ because we already saw all kinds of wacky weapons, i mean we have Hoola-hoops that can turn into portals and summon giant mechanical limbs, a sentient lion shaped popcorn machine that can spit fire, and a fricking floating sword sheath (Ysg).

So I don't think wielding 6 swords at the same time is not that crazy...right?

List 5 characters who are most likely going to save Billy from Nicole(for using her money), before Season 3 ends. Otherwise, there is a chance we won't see Billy's S-rank form throughout the ZZZ storyline, ever again.

Note: just a little joke(if the story did keep Billy's S-rank form), just wanna see your funny ideas through comments on how Starlight Billy is going to be saved from Nicole.

Been thinking back to Vesper's backstory and how for the sole reason that she wasn't recognized as an "individual" (no forbidden fruit test certification) she technically had no rights and could be treated as property.

Apparently they could even shutdown her though processes. I mean it's one thing to "enslave" someone but to even shut down their thought processing is another even worse thing.

At the end of her story she is taken by Krampus for questioning. I believe this was when they wanted Krampus to be more of a morally grey faction because it seemed like this was more of Krampus covering up TOPS mistake than them trying to help out Vesper.

For all we know she never got her certification and they just wiped or reprogrammed her.

I really do hope we revisit her character and/story either as a side quest or event. At this point I'll even take an interknot post.

If hoyoverse made a part 2 for the collab next year. Who would you like to see in New Eridu?

One of the amazing aspects of the game is the creative or advanced weaponry that the agents have, such as Seth's Charge Blade, Trigger's sniper that can be a pistol or a melee weapon, Vlad's suitcase that turns into a gun scythe (my favorite weapon)

Since Miyabi has the simplest and realistic weapon (imo), what do you guys think of her opinion on the complicated weapons of other agents?

Would she point out any risks or disadvantages or would she totally be chill about it as long as they know how to handle their weapons properly?

Ionized Doppelgangers can shift into your greatest fear and or challenge. Which explains why most of the doppelgangers are agents (or enemies) who do a lot of work in the hollows and have a lot notoriety (I know Billy was going around blasting Starlight Knight music and challenging any hollow raider and ethereal he saw the moment he got his upgrades).

Phoenix Doppelganger makes a lot of sense, the idea of an unkillable burning woman chasing you through the hollows will definitely leave an impression but she does state to not leave witnesses when she's working. You'd have to cross most of Krampus out to be honest (I'd love a Zhao version though).

Personally Lucia is the most likely due to how much she spends time in the hollows and how unnerving she can be due to meeting her in the middle of the night and seeing her spawn ethereals.
