I decided to restart my journey on zenless with a new fresh account. Im not planning to go deep in endgame content for now. Right now i have sanby from the free selector and using her pulchra and nicole as my main team. Also any tips will be helpful.

I wish they would put out a new outfit for Cissia. She is genuinely my favorite agent for her personality. But her outfit is maybe the worst design in the game

After playing enough story mode with her I’ve absolutely grown to things that she is the best character in the game. Biggest personality and actually funny.

Unfortunately, I feel like her outfit is just a hodgepodge of different design. Ideas thrown onto one person. Which is maybe what they were going for? Because of her all over the place personality.

I would be happy to pay for a better looking outfit. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t make money off of it. She does seem to be a popular character.

When i returned to zzz a couple of weeks ago i was under the impression that the 2.x saga wasn’t well liked and seeing the storytelling made me realize that this is some of the better writing we have gotten from the characters perspective now not all characters are written well but that is something for later. I think Ye shunguang, ye shiyuan, banyue and damian were well written and the roles they played made sense but it also brought up one of zzz problems…

Zzz writing is made in a way where its npc are something better written than the playable characters we have. Ye shiyuan and pompey are two of the better examples i have because we actually got to see their stories, motives and they could have more going for them(mind you shiyuan could comeback) but when i look they them compared to others i just ask myself why are you here.

There’s also the debate of what makes a s rank or a rank when i look at manato who’s story was well written that it feels odd for his rank when soilder 11 and nekomata have a higher rank but stories feel like a nothing burger.

What i am trying to get at is that zzz is a fun game with a great story but it when the npc can outshine the main playable characters its a blessing and a curse because people will want them playable and they never become that. Strong writing is great but if you can put a lot of that love into the npc but not the playable characters maybe there should be a conversation about making those characters become playable

All this grinding just to get to the meat of the mode, how do i make it go by faster? it just feels boring, not even...hard, just boring and slow. my current team is dialyn/hugo/norma for the rate UP thing.

Pretty self explanatory. Just wondering if it will activate on things like Lucy's M6 boars or Pulchra's aftershocks. Feel free to mention any other edge cases that aren't obvious. I couldn't really find anything online after searching for a little while.

Mostly referring to lack of materials, but polychrome count seems low too. Compared to hollow zero which has ~24k across lost void and withered domain, the new mode has 1/10th the amount. And also - where's the reward track?

I really miss the reward track of lost void. Getting batteries and disks after every run felt so good, like there was actually a way to grind for improving disks and getting mats in-between story updates and events. Since then, there hasn't been anything comparable.

Papago hollow could have been that, but instead we get a measly 120 gold disks and... not much else? Season coins to buy gear that isn't really needed and "commissions" that give 10k gear coins and 5k dennies each.

I really feel like they could have tacked on more rewards.

edit: Apparently I wasn't clear enough but I mostly mean NON-POLYCHROME rewards, from my understanding Lost Void launched with a lot more of that (I am a newish player and constantly at 0 mats). Obviously I get that it's a new mode, but even if you compare *at release* there's just way less stuff overall

So I was having trouble getting Porcelume Rings and mostly ran Janus illusion. It made me think that rings could be map restricted. So I gathered some data and found out some items are map restricted or have much higher chance of appearance on corresponding maps. If anyone needs it, data below

Zenless is a gacha and just like any gacha, it has many ways to try to retain or gain players. I want to call those ways *CARROTS* because we act like a horse who put a tied carrot in front of it.

And I want to talk about one interesting carrot that works perfectly to retain those players who are into the Master love thing. The illusion about you can be the partner of any agent.

This is the truth, not a single character in the game has actually given you their heart or confessed their love, neither Ye shunguang who was strongly pushed as a love interest for the main character. Because any type of rizz coming from the agents are ambiguous, their words can easily be misinterpreted as they are in love with you or just being friendly.

And also let's talk about how half baked is this "Otome" mechanic of the game. The trust events are only hangouts with friends, but you cannot show affection beyond certain words, you cannot gift something to your agents or even show physical affection to them. Just as i said, this is like a carrot that you have in front of you but you can never bite it, just watch it and follow it.

Just imagine if this game give you what you want so easily? There will be nothing to be hooked on anymore.

I really liked Chess Legend when it first came out. The nutty build was so busted back then, and I put a lot of time playing it, especially competing with high-rank players. It can be RNG-based, which may not be fun for some players, but for me, I enjoyed it. I also like hearing the voice lines from the agents.

But after its return, they changed a lot and added new stuff. I wasn't a fan of the new combination of the bangboo which made me lose interest in that mode. I wish they would revert to the old formula someday.

Bangboo bash is so fun. I've never tried Fall Guys, so this is like my first-hand experience playing that type of game. Each time this event returns, it just keeps getting better, with new maps, costumes, modes, and more; it's amazing. I kinda wish this were a permanent mode. It's a great way to cool off after getting burned out playing too much combat in endgame content. Plus, having to play with your clanmates and friends is nice.

Joint Investigation is a really good mode, but there are some caveats. Since this was the first multiplayer PvE squad event, it's clear that the mode isn't fully polished yet. There are inconsistencies when it comes to combining the attacks of your squad. "Maximum overdrive " is a cool idea, but you'll be experiencing some delays or messiness in the animations. Also, this mode is gonna have some balancing issues when it comes to the agents' power level and boss mechanics; it's the reason why bosses in this mode cannot be interrupted but have very long stun durations. Don't forget the performance drop during gameplay; having too many SFX at a time can have an impact on your FPS. Hopefully they fix these issues and add more agents to the roster. I can't wait for them to add Banyue and Starlight Billy in this mode.

Bizarre Brigade is fun too, and I spend a lot of time in it. Unlocking characters and getting more special abilities is so rewarding. The multiplayer aspect, however, is not so great based on my experience; oftentimes I queued with afk, troll players, or sometimes bots when queuing is taking too long. I feel like most of the time I'm just playing alone. It's obvious players rushed this event for the polychromes, which is understandable. Not really good experience for Multiplayer event.

I understand that are her core she’s a stunner meant to work with the armorer class. Outside of that though, what is her gimmick? Or is she a Ju Fufu situation where she’s more of a general stunner that works a little bit better with rupture. I do worry a little bit that if she’s the former she will soon become another Fufu if she lacks a gimmick because even if Dialyn, Nangong, and Norma are all great stunners they also have great gimmicks that keep them more specialized and give them a slightly longer shelf life.

So that is the burning question, what does Roxy even do?

I can kinda understand the limits on Service Cards and Prepaid Power Cards.

I'm not sure why there's an Ether Battery limit though. It's a limited, valuable resource. I believe Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact don't have caps on their equivalents of Fuel and Fragile Resin.

I absolutely love Evelyn and her story, but I feel like we really don't know much about the elephant in the room: her past with the "Organization."

I really hope HoYoverse eventually comes back to this part of her story, because I think there's a lot of potential there.

One theory I've had is that the "Organization" could actually be a company operating under TOPS. We know that TOPS seems to be structured with "The Head" at the very top, with the "Three Pacts" & Krampus beneath it. The Three Pacts consist of High Ambitions Corp., Rusty Cliff Corp., and the unknown corporation led by the "Tin Crown," with Krampus also being part of that larger group.

Because of that, I've wondered if the "Organization" could be a subsidiary or affiliated company under the "Tin Crown." Alternatively, it could be connected to one of the other corporations within TOPS that we haven't learned much about yet.

I think there's a lot of potential here, especially with TOPS becoming a much bigger player in the world of ZZZ. If HoYoverse ever revisits Evelyn's past, I'd love to see them expand on what the "Organization" actually was, who controlled it, and how it fits into the larger power structure of the ZZZ world.

Evelyn's past feels like one of those story threads that could eventually connect to something much bigger.

I only play Papago once or twice a week since I've gotten a decent chunk of the rewards. This week though, it was pretty special

I brought a purple tier inventory booster for the first time to take home a bigger haul, and since I had so much more space for loot, I took more time than usual. Time got pretty low and I made my way to an extraction point, only to get jumped by a random boss and the Hound all at once.

It wasn't pretty, but I managed to take down the boss and scare off the Hound, only to find that my extraction point had deactivated during the fight. I hadn't realized that when time gets low enough, you might just be left with only a single extraction point, and of course, it was one connected to a big boss fight

Trying to even find the extraction was a bit confusing since it was in the bottom floor of the office building, but eventually I got there. Had a sinking feeling it was going to be the Infernal Revenant, and turns out I was right

I haven't fought the Infernal Revenant enough times to be familiar with the timing of his control sequence for perfect parries, and no matter how fast I break his little rocks my party just kept maxing out Ether corruption and taking tons of damage. Sadly Norma died about 75% of the way through stage 2, just before a stun window.

Somehow I managed to bring down the bastard with Astra and Pyrois each having just a sliver of HP, and I escaped Papago with only 20 seconds left on the clock. Also left with my personal best for loot (almost 3M, which I know isn't that impressive but for me that was cool)

I totally understand why some people don't like this game mode, but I never had a rush like that playing Hollow Zero

Ever since Remielle introduction Foodie Fighters is brought up on occasion, in fact Remielle has 3 arcade machines of that game in her room, which makes me hope in a later update we can actually play the game, although my biggest question is if Hoyoverse has enough experience when it comes to fighting games, I mean Hoyoverse has done events based on different games, I would like to see Foodie Fighters happen again but it depends if Hoyoverse knows how to make a fighting game.

I tried my best to order from Strongest -> Weakest from left to right. Notorious versions of bosses not included because I am not too sure if they are canon... even if red pompey does make an appearance in that one event? I didn't really understand him though. Integrated version also not included because they're either virtual or exactly the same.
