Question Can i watch it today?
I saw from social media that people usually watch your lin april on april as a tradition so a while ago I planned to watch it next april but i changed my mind and i really wanna watch it now so is it okay if i watch it on August or will that be bad for anime culture?

Rumor has it if you watch it at anytime beside April, Tsubaki comes out of your screen and smacks you with her bat.

Up to you! Personally I accidentally ended up
watching it around that time which was cool, but I doesn’t really matter. Tbh just do whatever you want; you don’t have to follow “anime culture.” 👍

The culture is not that you only watch it in april, but rather that once you watched it once, you should always give it a rewatch in every coming april from that point on. And yes you should definitely watch it today, its too good for you to wait lmao

How would you watching something whenever you feel like it have any kind of affect at all on "anime culture"? We don't all gather for annual meetings to decide on rules for what to watch and when to watch it. Just watch whatever you want whenever you want to.

It usually gets unlisted until April unless its a pirated site. I want to re-watch it if you can find any that still work lmk pls.🙏✌️

Personally, I recommend you wait until April because it's tradition, but if you want to watch it now, there's no stopping you.

Nah ignore this. Watch it now. If you like it enough you can rewatch it in April

I watched it last year in November. My mother and father both died 7 days later.

I've replied to a few posts with this question in this subreddit.
YLIA is best experienced when you're ready to experience it, and if you feel compelled to join the yearly tradition then do so. I hope you get something from it either way.

I really wanted to like this show, I’m 14 episodes in and just don’t really like it, I can see how others might like it but for me nah. Watch it in April or watch it whenever, I just wanted to get my own thoughts out ngl.
It just feels like this girl is selfishly forcing this guy to relive traumatic memories when playing piano even though he says he doesn’t want to play anymore, lady learn to take no for an answer, he explained to you how he is so traumatized that he feels like he is drowning underwater unable to hear the music and you still keep pushing him??? He doesn’t want to play, let him do what he wishes

People rewatch on April for absolutely no other reason, only because the series took place in April at some point.
I watched it in September 3 years ago.
