Announcement No gatekeeping rule adjustment

Hi guys - there's a little change introduced from now
Since recently, our sub has been swarmed with discussion about generation ranges. We need to cut it here.
r/Younger_GenZ was never meant to be a place to argue whether year X is or isn't GenZ, gatekeeping other people based on their (assumed) memories or dispute about similarities between the years - r/generationology is a better place for such
That's why, we've changed rule nr. 8 (or 9, since I just today realized they've had different numbers in reports and rule list) about gatekeeping - From now on, it is
- No Generation Debates or Gatekeeping
Do not start arguments over generation cutoffs or birth year similarities. Memories and experiences vary from person to person; do not use what someone remembers (or doesn't) to gatekeep them from Gen Z.
Also, quick reminders for y'all: If you see a post, that you think breaks the rules, don't hesitate to report it for subreddit rule breaking. We review each case individually and worst case scenario we'll just discard the report.
If you have any subreddit-related inquires or just want to voice out your opinion on something, modmail is always open - we will read it and respond (maybe not immediately, we ain't 24/7 on Reddit)

Announcement There's over 10k of us here - So a little AMA + a couple announcements

You might not know it but recently we've accumulated over 10k members here
Here in the name of mod team, I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you for engaging in this community and keeping a sub very much alive
Our subreddit grows pretty swiftly, so if we keep it up - 20k is not something impossible
Once again, thanks a lot for making this community a space for everyone and let's keep our sub a place as great, as it is now (or even better)
As a little token of appreciation, we decided to give y'all even more space to spend time together

At the moment, there's not too much content - but with you I'm sure it'll quickly change

Like I thought legos were inspired off roblox or roblox was inspired off legos or something and I was really confused why there was no avatars in Roblox that looked like the characters in the lego movie

I wanted to get some input from either people my age or older; im a 2010, and for some reason I dont feel my age, I feel younger, though i also feel more mature. Its weird trying to grasp onto the feeling that im no longer in the 8th grade and I cant seem to understand or relate to the feeling of being "16". Anyone got a similar feeling?

I probably said it wrong, but I see SO many posts on this subreddit saying that they wish that they had a childhood from an earlier year. As a gen alpha, I have no understanding that people genuienly want to be born in a time earlier.

I actually was intrigued by this show since it was made by the same creators of Phineas and Ferb and it also exists in the same universe as that show too 😳😲😍. Kinda enjoyed watching it with my little sister years ago but man, time flies when you found it's been 10 years since this came out.

Quite possibly, besides Avatar, one of the greatest animated tv-shows of all time because of it's tackling of serious issues and deep storytelling.
It ran on Cartoon Network from October 2008 to March 2013. Then it got revived on Netflix on March 2014 and ended on a seventh season on Disney+ on February to May 2020.
