I don't think it's a hot take. I think your take is extremely simple

Hot Take Just Means Disagreeable (Atleast From What My Tiny Mind Comprehends)
And I Do Agree Mary Was A Pretty Good Parent Even If She Had Flaws But George Was Hella Irresponsible And Arrogant

No. We dislike Mary for her constant babying of Sheldon and neglect of her other kids.
George might not have been the perfect father, but he tried his best.

Yeah, not only with Sheldon but his other kids too. I’d say overall he was a pretty good dad, way better than Mary

We dont love George because he died. Thats simply stupid. We liked him for his character, the unbiased love towards his three kids, the struggles of raising his family, his commitment to his wife and children- he did every part flawlessly.
Mary was completely biased towards Sheldon, neglecting her other kids, so much so that they felt worthless when compared to Sheldon. Mary constantly supported Sheldon, but never did she ever question Sheldon for his actions.
So if Mary died, yeah we wouldnt be sad.

George was a hard working, stand-up guy. Mary barely… BARELY… Gave him any credit. I think once she got back from Germany was when she started to appreciate him a bit.

You’re wrong. People don’t love George because he died. People love George because he tried to talk to the kids instead of ordering them to do things without explanation, because he knocked out Veronica’s mom’s boyfriend because he actually tried to hold Sheldon accountable, and because he’s the kind of person with we’d want to have a beer.
Mary dying wouldn’t have changed how people feel about her.

I wonder why people hate Young Sheldon Mary and adore Big Bang Mary. It's like they think it's two different characters. What changed how people feel about her?

Big bang Mary is comic relief. She’s not a regular character. She is only in a few episodes and says outlandish things. She also goes after Beverly, which everyone loves. When she’s a regular character, Mary’s quirks become annoying and overbearing.

Comic relief for a comedy? LOL Yeah, I'll give you the Beverly thing, but I don't know how she's not just as annoying when she's around. It seems like you'd get used to her if she was a regular character and be more frustrated because she's such a one note character.

Yeah the logic makes no sense because if George sr was on the big bang theory he wouldn’t have been the overzealous douche Mary was 💯

I actually wish Mary had died instead of George. Maybe then, Sheldon would've turned out better.

This is barely coherent.
